Non-oxidizing RO Membrane Biocide (Chlorine Free)

Chemtex’s Non-oxidizing RO Membrane Biocides (Chlorine Free) are effective non-oxidizing microbiocides for disinfection of RO membrane. It is safe for potable RO system. It has high efficacy rate for broad spectrum micro-organisms.

Reverse Osmosis Membrane Biocide or RO Disinfectant helps in keeping away biofouling and formation of biofilms in the membrane.

It is safe and biodegradable biocide which is effective against wide spectrum micro-organisms & requires low dosage level for accelerated response followed by gradual action for effective removal of algae, fungi and bacteria.

Biofouling of RO membrane can result in various severe problems such as poor and contaminated permeate quality, reduced flow rate, increase in power and reduced productivity.

Equivalent or even better than MAXTREAT 9651 from THERMAX; INDION 8100 and INDION 5010 from ION EXCHANGE; PERMACLEAN PC 67 from NALCO; DREWBROM and BIOSPERSE range of products from CHEMBOND ASHLAND; BIOMATE MBC 781, BIOMATE MBC 881 and BIOMATE MBC 2881 from GE WATER etc.

Dosage and Method: - Chemtex’s Non-oxidizing RO Membrane Biocides (Chlorine Free) are dosed depending upon the degree of biological fouling. The recommended dosage is as follows:
Shock Dose for Immediate Disinfection
Continuous Dose for Round-the-clock Disinfection

In addition with that, Chemtex’s Oxidizing RO Membrane Biocides (Chlorine Free) are capable of oxidize biofoulants present in RO feed water and RO membranes.

Chemtex also offers Liquid Chlorine of RO Grade as disinfectant for RO feed water.

It is dosed exactly as per the dosage rate and method of MAXTREAT 9651 from THERMAX; INDION 8100 and INDION 5010 from ION EXCHANGE; PERMACLEAN PC 67 from NALCO; DREWBROM and BIOSPERSE range of products from CHEMBOND ASHLAND; BIOMATE MBC 781, BIOMATE MBC 881 and BIOMATE MBC 2881 from GE WATER etc.
